Drums, Heads and Sticks...
I use Pearl drums and hardware except for my snare which is
a Yamaha Musashi snare. I like Vic Firth and Zildjian sticks,
and I really like Aquarian Performance 2 coated heads for
my Toms, Aquarian Focus X coated heads for my Snare, and Aquarian
Super Kick 2 heads for my Kick Drum.
Cymbals...
Cymbals are next on my list of things to upgrade on my kit.
I am looking deeply into diversifying the sizes a bit more...but
my current cymbal collection is as follows:
Microphones...
I use my trusty Shure SM58 for vocals, and an Audio Technica
AT4033a condenser mike for the Overhead. I use 4 Audix ADX-90
condenser mikes for my toms and snare. I run 1 Shure AG52
through an Alesis 3630 Compressor for the kick drum. All mikes
are running through an independent Mackie 1402 VLZ3 mixer
I have in my isolation booth.

A Big thanks to Juneau Arts and Humanities Council for approving RAR for a small grant to help get our new studio space underway. hAx studio is currently under construction and is in partial working order. Thanks to our newly granted funds we will have much needed walls and soundproofing. Check back for updates.
